PROGRAM STATEMENT

Pine Oaks has been established to provide long-term live in assistance for individuals wanting a stable home-like environment. Facility is well suited for a married couple (private bath room) that one spouse needs more assistance in performing daily life task and individuals that have mild dementia.

Pine Oaks is designed to provide residential services for up to six (6) male and female client (s) 60 + years old, Pine Oaks will provide 24-hour supervision in a stable home-like environment conducive to social and psychological growth toward maximal independence and normalization in their life.

This home is designed to accomplish the above goal in the least restrictive living environment as possible, utilizing specific services, agencies and activities within our community.

It is the objective of Pine Oaks, in conjunction with all responsible agencies, to work with the family in structuring the home environment so that it becomes a more acceptable setting for the resident in light of the manifested social and physical changes that have occurred in their life when a return to their home is not an available option.

All staff employed at Pine Oaks will maintain positive and ongoing communication with the families of our residents. This will be done in a manner that best meets the needs of the residents and their families. In addition, the opinions and requests of residents and their families shall be considered in all service decisions, including the duration and objectives of the service. The rights of all residents will be honored and upheld according to the policies and procedures of Pine Oaks.

All staff employed at Pine Oaks, are committed to providing quality services to residents. All staff shall receive in-service training from Pine Oaks in accordance with developmental principles and human dignity with the focus being to create a safe and normal environment.
